We all know how debilitation and damaging bouts of anger can be. In an attempt to get a point across or express the only person we end up hurting is ourselves. Anger expressed inappropriately can be toxic, like eating poison only hoping the other person dies.
In some cases, releasing anger in a non-damaging way can be beneficial as “what is on the way up is on the way out” or as the saying goes, “what you release will save you and what you supress will finish you.”
In this way, it’s important to acknowledge what’s in ourselves so:
1) We don’t project it onto others
2) So, it maybe transmuted into some form of “gift” that lies beneath our shadows. In these dark places there is generally Gold to be found underneath when seen for what it is and dealt with appropriately.
With the use of clinical Hypnotherapy, we are able to reframe the context of our emotions behind past traumas that maybe the triggers for emotional outbursts. This enables clients to remain in control and not be reactive when the stimulus surfaces. With this new awareness and new found sense of control, clients are able to remain calm and respond in a way that is life giving and facilitates creative solutions.
This is much healthier than carrying emotions that can be debilitating and damaging, freeing up an individual for more life, peace and wholeness.
